Frequently Asked Questions

Routes and timetables

The route takes approximately 50 minutes.

Oviedo City View offers one service every hour in the following time slots:

  • - from 11:00h a.m. to 1:00h p.m.
  • - from 4:00h a.m. to 8:00h p.m.

The main stop (where the route starts at the specified times) is the stop at Marques de Santa Cruz, but you can start your journey at any of the designated strops in the route of the Oviedo City View.

The Oviedo City View routes are circular routes, so you can get on board the bus at any of the designated stops. Also, the Oviedo City View service is commonly named as HOF-ON, HOF-OFF, which allows you to board and alight as many times as you like throughout the day using the same ticket.

We post information about service disruptions on our website. We recommend visiting the website on the day you wish to use it.

Tickets

You can buy your tickets in the section on the website alsa.es (to which this page redirects you) or on the bus itself (subject to availability, on a first-come, first-served basis)

You can check the fares on this website or at alsa.es

No, boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Unfortunately, you can only travel on the bus with a valid ticket, and if your ticket is lost or stolen, you are not entitled to a refund or to make any changes. No other payment receipts or reused vouchers are valid to travel. Once the ticket has been purchased, you must always keep your ticket to get on board the bus and whenever you re-board the bus.

Buses

Our buses performing the Oviedo City View service are double-decker buses with the top deck open-top. In all cases, passengers enter through the front door and exit through the rear door, except for wheelchair users, who enter through the rear door.

Our buses have a sunroof that is only used when it rains. If you wish, you may also travel on the air-conditioned lower deck, bearing in mind that, for your own safety, you must always remain seated in one of the available seats.

All Oviedo City View buses feature a boarding ramp and space for wheelchairs inside the vehicle. Each bus has a maximum capacity of one wheelchair.

Yes, it must be transported on the lower deck, folded against the wall, on the chain provided for that purpose in that area of People with Reduced Mobility.

Your travel

There’s no need; a headset is provided with each ticket on the bus. If you wish, you can bring your own headphones and connect them to the bus’s audio system via a 3.5mm mini-jack.

During the journey, passengers are not permitted to stand, eat or drink. Even though the upper deck is open-air (provided it isn’t raining), smoking, travelling with an open umbrella or throwing any objects out of the bus is not permitted. It is also very important to follow all the safety instructions provided by the driver carefully.

Animals and pets are not permitted on board the Oviedo City View, with the exception of guide dogs.

Our buses do not have luggage compartments or overhead racks, so if you are bringing luggage, it must consist of small items that you can carry with you and that do not take up any extra seats, block the aisles or obstruct the emergency exits. It is not safe either to place the luggage under the front seats, as this type of bus can move easily across the floor and pose a danger. Unfortunately, you will not be able to travel with suitcases or large items of luggage.

They are not allowed. Boarding with electric scooters and electric bicycles is not allowed since 15 April 2026.
